Thomas & Ann Molineux Family
On January 28, 1861 Thomas Molineux married Ann Marks in St. George, Birmingham, Warwick, England. This union produced five children.
Henry Alfred Molineux was born in 1862 at Market Lavington, Wiltshire, England. Henry became a school teacher and ultimately the headmaster of the Bishampton Institute elementary school.
Their second son, William James Colson Molineux, was born September 8, 1865 in Monmouth, Wales. William was christened October 18, 1865 in at Market Lavington, Wiltshire.
In 1868 Thomas and Ann were blessed with twin boys: George & Thomas. George grew up and made the Army his career. Thomas married and became a shopkeeper in Wolverhampton.
Around 1870 their daughter Frances Ann was born.
Ann died in 1877, leaving Thomas a widower with five children to raise. Thomas returned to Hagley after Ann's death to raise the younger children with the assistance of his widowed mother-in-law, Sarah Marks, and a live-in servant named Jane Harley. The 1881 UK Census shows they lived on Park Street in Wellington parish just a few blocks from the train station.
By 1901 Thomas is retired, living with his daughter Frances and his older brother George at 29 Wood Street, Wollaston, Worcestershire, England. Thomas is now 70 and his brother is 75. Thomas died on the 26th of December, 1910 of pneumonia and heart failure. Thomas was 79 years old.<
